- Studios appointments for mission-essential photos will be available on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
- Some exceptions may apply. If you have questions concerning your eligibility for an appointment, email jbab.publicaffairs@gmail.com or call our office at 202-284-3250.
- JBAB's Photo Studio is currently located in P-20, on the second floor, in the Public Affairs office. 
- If entering JBAB through Arnold Gate (main gate), the photo studio is located in the first brick building to the right. Make a right at the first intersection and then another immediate right into the first parking lot. 
- If entering JBAB through the gate near the Joint Visitor Center, make the first right on Duncan St., left on McChord St., right on Brookley Ave. SW, and continue past Arnold Gate. P-20 is the building immediately after Arnold Gate. Turn into the first parking lot on the right.

*PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE SCHEDULING*

- Studio photography is conducted by appointment only and is available to military and civilian members of all service branches. Studio services include:
-Head and Shoulder portrait (Gray background w/appropriate U.S. and service flag combinations, 8x10 or 5x7 crop).
 Full-length portrait (Plain white background, 5x7 crop).
- Official passport photo prints (2x2 crop on plain white background).
- ISOPREP photos (Mission-essential requirements, w/prior coordination through Unit Deployment Manager). - Per regulation and the local PA employment plan, official studio photography requests must be accompanied by a valid justification. Acceptable justifications include:
- Applications for special duty assignments.
- Citizenship applications.
- Chain of command studio photography will be provided for leaders at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant).
- Quarterly and Annual Award winner photos at the group-level and above.
- We do not support studio photography for retirements, or official biographies.
- All other requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. - Personnel must notify the photographer of the requirements of their photo (such as photo size, number of prints, etc.) prior to the appointment time.
- Due to limited staffing and high demand, our photographer will not be able to accommodate requests for prints for organization boards except first sergeants as well as award and FSS boards in high-traffic areas. For example, official photo requests are not authorized for shop chiefs, NCOICs or non-official purposes. Prints for quarterly awards boards will be made for group levels and above.
- PA will provide prints of USAF and DoD leadership for boards only in squadron, group and wing-level buildings. All subordinate buildings must use other resources to obtain prints for leadership boards.
- Photos will not be modified or edited beyond the necessary cropping and minor lighting adjustments in accordance with DoDI 5040.5, Alteration of Official DoD Imagery, and DoDI 5040.02, Visual Information.

 


*STUDIO SCHEDULING* 

- Please note our studio is not manned every day and we are not able to accommodate any walk-ins for studios at this time.
- Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Completed prints or emailed products will be provided within 48-72 hours.
- Repeated no-show or rescheduling members will have to present an MFR from either the member’s first sergeant or commander stating the need for rescheduling.
- All personnel must come prepared at the time of their appointment. If a member is missing any part of the uniform, such as a name tag or tie, the member will need to reschedule. PA also reserves the right to turn away personnel whose uniforms do not meet standards (i.e. soiled, too small, too baggy, or wrinkled).

- Our studio does not have the capability to support Army DA photos. If a DA photo is scheduled, the appointment will be canceled.
