JBAB hosts DC officials for LEARN DC engagement, base tour

Representatives from across Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling engaged with Cherise Imai, executive director of the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission, and Commissioner Clara Botstein, director of legislation and government relations at the D.C. office of the deputy mayor for education on March 15, 2022 to familiarize them with the diverse mission sets of Team JBAB and to highlight the installation's first charter school, LEARN DC, and the concerted interagency effort that made it possible.

The African American Heritage Committee, a Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and Joint Base Andrews organization, strives to educate Airmen on Black History not just in February but each month with events and gatherings.
