Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling

Due to the government shutdown, the below 11th Wing services will be impacted.  

Air Force Memorial:

The Air Force Memorial is closed until further notice.  

No bus tours, cars, or foot traffic are permitted access at the memorial.  

Bolling Medical Squadron:  

There will be no changes to Bolling Medical Squadron services.  

Civil Engineering Squadron:  

11 CES will be operating under limited capacity and responding to emergency requests only.  

For all CE-related emergency issues, please contact 11 CES directly at 202-284-4237.  

Comptroller Squadron:

Force Support Squadron:  

Please see attached.   

Gates and Joint Visitor Center: 

Firth Sterling Gate will be closed until further notice. The Joint Visitor Center operating times will be 5 a.m. -1 p.m. 

From 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., all visitors should park at the JVC and walk to the South Gate guard shack for pass pick-up and pass issue.

Between 8 p.m. – 5 a.m., visitors should use Arnold Gate.

Integrated Resilience Office:  

The Integrated Resilience Office personnel will be in furlough status until further notice.  

Support functions that will remain available through the shutdown include postvention response services for suicide or suicide attempts. All other services will be paused until the end of the shutdown. To activate response support services please contact the 11th WG Command Post at 301-981-5058. For immediate assistance in case of an emergency, please contact 911 or for mental health support the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988 or visit https://988lifeline.org/.  

Legal Office:   

Due to the ongoing government furlough, all 11 WG/JA civilian staff are currently unavailable. Our military personnel are continuing to perform essential legal functions; however, we are experiencing an exceptionally high volume of inquiries with limited capacity.  

At this time, we are unable to respond to every request. If you do not receive a reply, it is likely because your inquiry does not meet the threshold for mission-essential support. We appreciate your understanding as we focus our efforts on matters that require immediate legal attention. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.  

JBAB: We will continue to take walk-in legal assistance for notaries and powers of attorney, on a first-come, first-served basis during our office hours of Monday - Thursday 0900 - 1500.  Additionally, we will have will and legal assistance appointments available on a limited basis and will prioritize deployers and active-duty personnel.  

Pentagon: The Pentagon Legal Assistance Office will be closed for the duration of the shutdown.  If you are in need of legal assistance, please contact the JBAB legal office (11WG/JA) at 202-284-3237.
