JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington, D.C. - NASA astronaut Victor Glover, International Space Station Crew 1 member, reads a book to LEARN D.C. first grade students on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., Nov. 19, 2021. Three astronauts from ISS Crew 1 read to students, talked about their mission in space and delivered space-related souvenirs. During their visit, the astronauts also watched a demonstration by the United States Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team and answered questions from a group of JBAB Airmen with the intent to connect with and inspire future generations.
