JBAB hosts DC officials for LEARN DC engagement, base tour
JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington, D.C. - Horace Franklin, Naval District Washington school liaison, speaks during an engagement with Cherise Imai, executive director of the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission, listens to Commissioner Clara Botstein, director of legislation and government relations at the D.C. office of the deputy mayor for education, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. on March 15, 2022. Botstein and Imai toured JBAB, Washington, D.C. and met with U.S. Air Force Col. Erica Rabe, 11th Wing and JBAB vice commander, members of the 11th Force Support Squadron and the LEARN DC team in order to gain a deeper understanding of the concerted interagency effort that made the base's first charter school possible, as well as to learn about the diverse mission partners that operate on the installation.
