JBAB hosts DC officials for LEARN DC engagement, base tour
JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington, D.C. - U.S. Air Force Col. Erica Rabe, 11th Wing and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling vice commander, speaks to Commissioner Clara Botstein, director of legislation and government relations at the D.C. office of the deputy mayor for education; and Cherise Imai, executive director of the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission, on March 15, 2022 about the base's first charter school, LEARN DC. Botstein and Imai also toured JBAB, Washington, D.C. and met members of the 11th Force Support Squadron in order to gain a deeper understanding of LEARN DC and the concerted interagency effort that made it possible, as well as to learn about the diverse mission partners that operate on the installation.
