Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling generally follows the guidance of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) when it comes to our operating status.

Once the OPM decision has been made, JBAB push out notifications via https://www.facebook.com/jbabdc/, the AF Connect App, and official email.The AF Connect App can be downloaded from the App Store or the Google Play Store. You must enable push notifications to actively receive the notifications to your phone.
Gate access:
Arnold Gate is OPEN 24/7, South Gate will be OPEN 0500-2000, Firth Sterling Gate will be CLOSED in the morning, but open 1500-1700, JVC will be OPEN 0500-1600.

Childcare:
The CDCs & CYP will be OPEN starting at 0700.
Road condition:Current road condition is Amber. This condition describes a degraded environment when cautious travel conditions exist. All drivers should remain cautious.As we return to our offices, please remember:
1) Organizations and facility managers are responsible for clearing snow and ice within 100 feet of their building. Learn DC is responsible for their sidewalks and parking lots leading from the school building to the community sidewalk. If there are concerns with snow removal and needed clearance for State Funeral support, units can contact the CES Snow Control/Emergency Line at 202-284-4237 or 202-380-2091.
2) With sustained cold weather comes the likelihood of burst pipes and other infrastructure challenges. Please report any emergencies immediately to the CES Snow Control/Emergency Line at 202-284-4237 or 202-380-2091.
