Who is eligible for services? 

  • Active Duty personnel affiliated with Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and their dependents 
  • Guard and Reserve members in Title 10 military status  
  • Retired members and their dependents
  • DOD civilian personnel for inquiries regarding deployment ONLY ​
Powers of Attorney (POA) and Notary Services
 

Available on a walk-in basis, Monday-Friday, during normal business hours

POA worksheets are available on the Air Force Legal Assistance Website 

Notarization of real estate closing documents is not currently available 

Walk-in Legal Assistance is available 

Available Mondays: 1200-1300 Wednesdays: 1000-1100

Consultations are available on topics including but not limited to: family law, landlord/tenant, consumer issues, and personal financial matters

MILITARY JUSTICE
We supply military justice capabilities which protect good order and discipline and promotes public confidence in our military justice system.
 
OPERATIONS LAW
We provide commanders with responsive legal advice in support of military operations and joint military administration.
 
CIVIL LAW
We provide advice and assistance to commanders and Air Force elements, such as the Inspector General and Discharge Review Board, on matters relating to the organization, operation, personnel, and functions of JBAB and the 11th Wing's world-wide mission.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE
We resolve personal legal matters, ensuring high levels of readiness and the accomplishment of JBAB's many missions.
