The 11th Wing Inspector General serves as the eyes and ears of the commander by performing inspections, evaluating exercises and providing an alternate channel for resolving the complaints and grievances of the base population. The IG keeps the commander informed of potential areas of concern as reflected by inspection and exercise trends as well as analysis of complaints and inquiries data. The IG also educates and trains commanders and members of the base population on their rights and responsibilities in regard to the IG system. The IG assists military members of all services and ranks, family members, civilian employees, retirees and other civilian personnel.
