Air Force Band, Joint Service Color Guard perform for Honor Flight veterans

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Katie Edelman, soprano vocalist with The U.S. Air Force Band, performs the national anthem while the Joint Service Color Guard presents the colors for Honor Flight Chicago veterans at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., Aug. 20, 2025. The event honored military veterans from WWII, the Vietnam War and the Korean War during their visit to the National Capital Region. The JSCG consists of service members from all branches of the U.S. military who execute ceremonial honors by presenting and protecting the national flag at official events. The Air Force, Space Force and Navy members of the JSCG are assigned to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.
