JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington, D.C. - From left, U.S. Air Force Col. Angelique Nelson, 11th Mission Support Group commander, receives a guidon from Lt. Col. April H. Clemmensen, 11th Civil Engineer Squadron outgoing commander, during a change of command ceremony at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., June 18, 2025. Clemmensen served as the 11th CES commander for two years and led 290 military and civilian members in the sustainment of more than one thousand facilities, readiness and response plan development for three National Special Security Events and execution of various infrastructure initiatives.
