Colonel Cat M. Logan, 11th Wing Commander

Col. Catherine M. Logan serves as the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling installation commander and the 11th Wing commander at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.  As commander of "The Chief's Own", she is responsible for the United States Air Force Honor Guard, United States Air Force Band and Arlington Chaplaincy missions, which conduct ceremonial honors worldwide.  The 11th Wing also provides security, personnel, logistics, contracting, finance, and infrastructure support to approximately 70 mission partner organizations and more than 18,000 military and civilian employees and their families throughout the National Capital Region. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling encompasses approximately 1,000-acres and supports a range of military and civilian agency mission partners, including the Defense Intelligence Agency, Marine Helicopter Squadron One, the White House Communications Agency, the Joint Air Defense Operations Center, United States Coast Guard Station Washington, and the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard.
 
Prior to assuming her position as JBAB and 11th Wing commander, she served as the Director of Manpower, Personnel and Services (A1), United States Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida, where she advised command senior leaders on all personnel matters across six active duty, one Reserve and two Air National Guard Special Operations Wings. 
 
Colonel Logan entered the Air Force in 1999 as a distinguished graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s ROTC program.  She has served in a variety of manpower, personnel, and services positions at the base, major command, Air Staff, and Joint levels.
