The long-awaited electronic version of the Air Force’s Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS) is up and running, and now promotion-eligible Airmen can take a streamlined promotion exam to see if their military knowledge and technical expertise will carry them to the next rank.

Super Bowl LVIII: Space Force flag added to the Joint Armed Forces Color Guard

The Joint Armed Forces Color Guard and drummers from The U.S. Navy Band presented the colors before Super Bowl LVIII where the San Francisco 49ers took on the Kansas City Chiefs on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The JAFCG joined Reba McEntire in the end zone where she performed The National Anthem.

Bolling during an unveiling ceremony, at JBAB, Washington, D.C., Nov. 9, 2023. Bolling is remembered for creating the first flying units in what would become the Air National Guard, as well as his many contributions to the war effort during World War I. The U.S. Army honored the fallen aviator in 1918 by naming the National Capital Region’s newest aviation facility Bolling Field, which would later become Bolling Air Force Base and then JBAB.
