DC United Football hosts Military Appreciation Night
May 9, 2025 — U.S. Air Force Col. Ryan A.F. Crowley, commander of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and the 11th Wing, and Chief Master Sgt. Catrell Wilson, senior enlisted leader of the 11th Operations Group, participated in the opening ceremony coin toss for a DC United Football club match at Audi Field in Washington D.C., May 3, 2025. DC United invited JBAB leadership to conduct the ceremonial coin flip that decided which team will have the first kick, and military members to participate in their Military Appreciation Night. Air Force Band rocks the Golden State

JBAB conducts readiness exercise
March 18, 2025 — Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling conducted exercise Ardent Sentry 2025 to increase readiness on JBAB, Washington, D.C., March 10-13, 2025. AS25 consisted of cargo loading for transportation across the globe, a pre-deployment function line to send troops at a moment’s notice and an active shooter drill to react to sudden threats. JBAB routinely conducts training and exercises to ensure the team’s capabilities and lethality. Events in the exercise were selected to sharpen the necessary skills needed to remain ready to swiftly respond to emerging situations. The outcome of the exercise showcases JBAB’s posture to respond to demanding scenarios, and its continuous focus on keeping forces ready for high-end missions to defeat those who threaten our homeland, our partners and allies, or the American way of life...
