Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) for the Charter School
January 22, 2021 — JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, Washington — Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (United States Air Force (USAF)) announces the availability of a Final Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Finding of No Significant Impact to develop and operate a Charter School in partnership with Lawndale Educational and Regional Network. The USAF evaluated an Alternative that was not analyzed in the original Environmental Assessment (EA). JBAB begins limited, phased COVID-19 distribution
December 30, 2020 — The 316th Medical Squadron at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling administered the first locally available COVID-19 vaccines to JBAB first responders Dec. 30. As initial quantities of the vaccine are limited, medical, fire department and security forces professionals are the first to be offered the vaccine in line with the Department of Defense phased prioritization plan. December 14, 2020 — At a special ceremony at the Pentagon Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Colonel Don Schofield, Commander and Conductor of the United States Air Force Band, accepted the National Medal of Arts on behalf of all Air Force band members, past and present, from both active duty and the Air National Guard. The award was presented by Secretary of the Air Force Barbara Barrett and Chief of Staff of the Air Force General Charles Q. Brown. In 2019, President Donald J.
